*Special thanks and dedication to Mei Fern for all the lovely treasures ♥(˘⌣˘ C)
Reaching my milestone for the beautiful 2019 Singapore album was such a satisfying accomplishment. While I am also as ready and excited to begin another round of race for the 2020 beauties coming my way I must admit it is tough during a time of pandemic. Nevertheless I have great family and friends who continue to support this crazy hobby of mine year after year. I truly want to express my gratitude for their kind and generous help. It is such an honor to feature all the beautiful designs collected through them. My latest floral addition is this gorgeous piece from Regent. The box that carries the luxury red piece features a brownish garden in a blue gray background. Using that same illustration for the inner packet, lifting the flap is like stepping into a paradise that brings a sense of calmness to the mind.
After the rare blue gray box set from Regent, Treetop's beautiful cheongsam duo (hop over to MY Dresser for a complete view of the inserts) as well as the gorgeous floral from the financial kings and queens, my next botanic heaven is non other than Recruit Express below. Do you find the purple flowers and the yellow butterflies somewhat familiar? Well I actually have a 4pcs set that has the same two design as below, you can find the set at my Hong Kong album.
Before we begin the journey to the financial world, take a second to admire the flowers, bees, birds and fishes from SPC and if you are keen to see more from them do hop over to the SPC corner that I have created.
How do you find the above header? Loving it then you will appreciate the stunning set from Commerzbank that is currently sitting on top of my favorite list this year. The birds and the bees, the butterflies and the fishes, simply in awe of mother nature's glorious masterpiece. Even the envelope casing is thick in quality and not to mention the inner packet floral, this set is everything a collector can wish for. Do you remember their exquisite maiden pair way back in 2016? Visit the beautiful pair over at my 2016 Singapore album here.
It's another flowery set from MUFG this time round it's bigger in size with a sweeter color tone using the Chinese character Fu福, Man滿, Chun春 and Wang旺. Even though the envelope casing that holds the two 4pcs sets is nothing like Commerzbank, they are still quite a beauty nevertheless.
After continuing with their signature lion dance motif for the last 5 years SGX is presenting us glimmering floral duo in pink and red... I still prefer the lions (grin) though. Don't remember them? Browse them over at my 2019 Lion City (click here)... and I didn't know they were going to stop when I did the recap last yearヽ(ヅ)ノ
Next we have the vibrant and big floral prints above from Blackrock as well Charles Monat followed by the smaller prints from a clean and sweet Sing Investments and a chock-full from NN Investment below.
Continuing the finance series from Singapore we have the beautiful swallows from Maybank mass market while their Premier set of four has the Koi swimming gracefully in a red, pink, orange & blue lily pond. Malaysia version also has the Koi in their mass market as compared to the swallows for Singapore and while Singapore has a 4pcs premier set, Malaysia went with a pair that actually is the best quality among the four designs. I can't stop starring at the glittering swallows and you would too if you have them in your hands.
HSBC once again is of different design compared to the few versions from Malaysia, well except for the beautiful floral illustration that can be seen on the private banking inner packet. Malaysia took on a plain single piece design while Singapore went with a mother-child floral pair, both lovely but the butterflies got my vote. JP Morgan also has a mother-child pair with flowers, birdies and a golden fu; An equally stunning pair, just did not have the additional inner floral design that I adore. Check out the other MYS banking delights over at the Banking & Finance (click here).
More butterflies and we have three green fluttering beauties from ABN standing out so vibrantly among the pink blossoms. SMBC also has their share of butterflies with a pair of peach ones on it's cover casing and white ones on one of it's floral pair. Citibank Commercial has no butterfly and their blossom petals' shape are longer with pointy ends; Quality wise is like always, rubbery and beautiful.
The golden phoenix from UBP are majestic in high feather on a gold and maroon background while Lloyds has a pair of elegant blossom with the unique blue butterflies and green birdies. Taking it soft and sweet is Hitachi Capital pink scenery with colorful birdies among the purple blossoms followed by the glittering LGT.

Franklin Templeton Koi looks clean and simple compared to Julius Bar bold gold fishes illustration bringing out those refine strokes of their long wavy tails taking on rare colors of blue, purple and pure white, gorgeous!! Manulife Koi fishes are swimming in a pair of pink and yellow sea and they are everywhere, upfront, on the flap and on the inner packet too.
Bank of Singapore definitely brought us the largest Koi and water lilies this year. The pair is bold and vibrant with a prominent texture feel. Bank of China also has the same Koi and lily pond theme in one of their 4pcs set. Using four different color for each theme, the set is simpler and more elegant compared to their zodiac set last year.
Caught another fish set, another montage, 6pcs set from Fidelity, yes tiny but still qualify. Next is CIMB and just like in the past both countries have similar illustration but different paper and size. The colors alone is already a winner for the Singapore version. My preference is this year peonies with the highlight of navy blue leaves.
Moving on to another private bank, we have a more traditional look of the Chinese knot and mandarin oranges from Santander, my very first from them.
Taking a detour to visit the professional / consultancy firms with Persolkelly a joint venture established in 2016 between PERSOL Holdings and Kelly Services. This 4pcs comes in a front and back folding screen and is their first VIP set while the set below is the same as previous years, similar designs printed separately by their sister companies. The material this year is fabric across and they are soft, delicate and elegant.

Deloitte above is a rubbery duo with textured floral prints that is sophisticate and charming, definitely my favorite since I started collecting the series in 2015. Continuing the financial journey we have Standard Chartered mass market lil' red ruby and goldie mice attracted many collectors this year. I made a few good trades with them and they do make a great match with the priority ones.
Here comes the zodiac stars of the banking series, Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse. DB golden mouse is clad in a yellow samfu with a vibrant floral patch as compared to their bigger and brighter yellow pig last year. My vote goes to the pig for the more refine details of the garden filled with flower plants, butterflies and even grasses. Credit Suisse never disappoints the collectors as year after year their zodiac designs are unique with beautifully illustrated floral. My collection is not complete but I am just as happy to have what I have, 11 years is actually not too shabby.
Celebrating the vibrant color purple and orange on the outside, green and honey on the inside, Schroders golden rat can be seen peeping out from the colorful floral patch. The pair showcased a never-ending collage and is definitely one of my favorite (click here to see the montage and the older series). NCB is next and these origami mice pair is also rare and distinctive especially the flap shape of it's box.
Aberdeen Standard Investments is quite a fun piece with it's mouse house, showing us through the tiny door the big block of cheese within. Allianz Global Investors continues with their zodiac die-cut series, serving customers and collectors cheese this time round with golden mice after their colorful kaleidoscope piglet last year. I quite enjoyed the several hunting trips to gather all the Great Eastern mice from Malaysia and Singapore, a big happy cozy family indeed!
The two different version of NETS above is adorable with one rubbery and the other on normal paper while below we have two lovely baju themed packets from American Express and the elegant Manulife Financial Advisors which is of fabric, truly a classic piece. Find more vibrant cheongsam(s) from my dresser...
Daiwa Capital and Citigold Personal Bank both single and took on the elegant all red look while Credit Agricole brought us a sweet pink glittering charm. Next is the Fu 福 with Hong Leong Finance big embossed Fu that is not only colorful but has a delightful texture feel too. Bangkok Bank on the other hand has given us double the prosperity in a red and yellow twin Fu pair. Natixis is another beautiful floral pair featuring one of my favorite soft baby blue as well as the light maroon.

Next up are the insurance companies and they are quite an appealing collection series. HSBC Life is all red with a full floral die-cut while Opus by Prudential went with a lighter tone using gray but stood out instantly in a thicker more refine die-cut version. AXA birdies in yellow and pink blossom in red is a bright pleasant duo with beautiful embossed details. Likewise AIA is thick with nice embossed floral patterns on a blue and orange pair while AIA Buddy brought us the fun teddies for another year.

OCBC Mighty Savers has been around for decades to promote savings at young age and their series featuring the three superheroes is quite popular among the collectors. While I did not chase after the older ones I did begin collecting them since 2013 and I still remember very clearly how thrilled I was when I successfully collected the snake, horse and lambs then. We can see a pattern over the years starting with the horizontal layout for 3 years then switched to portrait in 2016, maintaining the flap design until 2018 before changing to the current one since. Take a look at my compilation below and see for yourself how they have changed or "grew" over the years.
The famous POSB and DBS has once again made waves during Chinese New Year by combining their red packets for the first time. Using big vibrant floral as the background Xing and Jaan from DBS and Smiley the happy squirrel from POSB joined forces to promote sustainability-themed greetings. They definitely have my vote for the cutest set so far. I also now know the names of the popular mascot used for so many years. DBS Treasure took on a relatively softer tone approach with a clean backdrop and the traditional red tone.
Check out ACI Universal Payments boy-girl and floral pair in 2019, even though this year going 100% floral with a different layout, they do carry a similar design feel for the series. Let's see what happens next year. Below is my first JCB packets (formerly Japan Credit Bureau is a credit card company based in Tokyo, Japan). I just like how sweet they are looking with those simple yet colorful flowers in a matching front-back layout side by side.
Officially launched in 2008, Singapore Flyer stands at 165 metres, with a diameter of 150 metres, making it the tallest Giant Observation Wheel in the world until the High Roller in Las Vegas, Nevada, US, with 167.6 metres tall was opened to the public on 31 March 2014. The Singapore Flyer has been closed since the start of the circuit breaker in April 2020 and reopened after a four months break on July 23rd with safety measures in place to manage the covid-19 pandemic situation. While the Singapore Flyer offers the breathtaking, panoramic views of the Marina Bay in Singapore, L'zzie continues for the third year featuring the famous landmarks of Europe. I just love the soft color tone as well as the consistency with the theme, layout and flap.
Société Générale, a.k.a. "SocGen", a French multinational investment bank and financial services company headquartered in Paris, France has brought the Lion dancing troupe to the lion city, truly joyous!!
It's a big happy celebration at Yue Hwa village with families reunion and gathering as well as lion and dragon dancing! This beautiful quality 8pcs set that comes in a lovely folding screen is definitely a keeper, a big hug and thanks to Mei Fern.
The kiddies continue to celebrate with Haidilao joyful children saying hello to everyone with the Chinese character 嗨 which means "Hi". The next eatery that I have so far is one of my favorite series Peach Garden with a golden rat pair in yellow and orange this year. Beautiful quality as always and they have included the 12 zodiac behind the packet together with my favorite inner packet print of the cheeky rat of course. I hope to hunt down their 2019 floral pair to complete my collection since 2015 which I then would be able to create a lovely corner for them all.
F & B
Founded in 2000, BreadTalk owns and operates bakery outlets in Singapore, as well as several outlets in various countries regionally. In 2003, the Group diversified into the restaurant business by opening the world-renowned Din Tai Fung brand of restaurants, known for its xiao long bao meat dumplings. This is my first year having both entities in my collection. Using the same layout design they are looking bright and cheerful.
Let us continue the authentic Chinese cuisine with splashes of purple and green. Din Tai Fung floral piece is thick and shining with golden floral from the back to the front that is filled with pussy willows, one of the first plants to bloom in spring. The highlight for me is the rainbow hue box that I am loving so much. Crystal Jade is gorgeous with a pair of the graceful butterfly koi and the beautiful peaceful red-crowned crane known as xian-he 仙鶴. Special thanks to Mei Fern for sharing these beautiful treasures, love them all!
Mr Bean is in the house, standing up tall once again this year with more colors and cuteness too. Do you still remember their previous designs? All vertically cute with happy jumping beans (find them over at my 2018 Singapore page here). My favorite is still their lil' lambs from 2015.
Honestbee and their number eight beehives in yellow and pink is simple yet quite a unique design. This pair may probably be the last from them as their creditor Benjamin Lim applied to wind up the company in April 2020. The company was launched in Singapore on July 2015, just a mere four years plus in the market.
McDonald reduced from 4pcs to a 3pcs set this year while Malaysia Koi trio are carrying the M logo literally on their body. While the "M" fish scale idea is cool, the quality is still lacking as compared to Singapore's thicker, smoother and brighter pieces. Time to admire more fishes in the other ponds below...
From the mini and super marts I have just a few to share this year. What do you think of 7-11 triple seven this time round? The number 7 is definitely bigger in size with illustrations within that my pal Apryl prefers. For me is the double mandarin orange flap that made the difference but quality wise I prefer their last year floral trio. Fairprice is next and not only have they darken the tone, they also magnified their floral adding on mushrooms. The short journey below feels like a hike through the jungle before spending a starry night by the fish pond. I was surprised that Prime only printed a 3pcs set, their smallest set (as in the number of pieces) I have from them since my first in 2016.
From the mini mart to the super-mart and to a little prime time, let's go for some premium grocery shopping. I will always remember what my cousin once said, "It's kind of expensive to shop at Cold Storage" (grin). I am sure she is right as it is the same here in Malaysia but we do get a little more quality when we pay extra and that's not just the stuffs we buy but the red packets as well. Lol, laugh at me you will but take a look at the beautiful floral set below. I love the yellow and green pheasants with the tiny fluttering butterflies and that extra Nyonya flavor from those five different 3 tiers tiffin carriers. These vintage lunch box also known as the Peranakan tiffin carrier or "tengkat" are absolutely a treasure. Do you remember their colorful roosters as well as those sweet big floral from 2018?
Taking a detour to the malls before getting some refreshments but first let's make a stop at Ramada and Frasers above to catch the peace and serenity; Just take a moment to admire the Koi in Ramada's four color pond and the orange gold fishes in Frasers' blue and pink pond. The two big lanterns from Suntec City floral pair below is filled with the dancing butterflies while Thomson Plaza played down their floral arrangement giving the duo a simple and clean look.

One of my favorite indulge, coffee time! Another must have for me every year is Starbucks and if not for the Singapore versions I would have given up on the Malaysia ones already. I also fancy the others from the neighboring countries but looks like this year I have no opportunity mostly due to the covid-19 situation. Nevertheless the Singapore pink and maroon pair caught my attention immediately with those curious round eyes mice as well as those lovely signature coffee cups. Malaysia on the other hand adopted the white mice that comes in an envelope casing which also has the same white mice design blind embossed up front.
Bon Cafe from last year embossed floral fu and chun moved on to an elegant fabric mei-hua pair this year and both are quite a unique design too as they've made use of the coffee bean in both years differentiating them from the rest of the standard red packets. Do you remember their 2018 design? (click and find it here).
Who's up for some colorful bubble tea? Playmade is truly a playful pair and thanks to a friend of a friend that I have the chance to have them in my collection. Not everyone was as eager as me (and my friend of course) to grab them especially not my two contacts whom I reached out to in Singapore (grin). Their CNY promotion also included recycling old red packets that I thought was a brilliant idea.
I started collecting Nine Fresh in 2017 and have been trading the later ones with a collector who is just as keen as me to continue their series. This year is definitely an improvement with the die-cut abundance pot that is beautifully illustrated using the Chinese character man 滿 matched with a colorful insert filled with auspicious charms.

Here are just a few singles from the beverage and snacks counter for now. The lucky number 8 is big, beautiful and auspicious from Tiger and Nespresso. The little mice from Mojo are heading for the golden floral bush while The Maple Mania twelve zodiac are hanging in and around their colorful bubbles. Pocky girls are delightfully adorable while Irvins friends are enjoying being tossed in the air with their favorite chips. Lim Chee Guan has taken a different direction this year. Moving away from their past years' pair designs to a single piece with tiny purple mice among the sea of piggies. I do like the new design, something different.
Tissue anyone? We have the Beautex fortune kitties delivering not just tissue but lucky fortune to us. I traded this year's trio while the collector added 2019 single to the deal, does make it a lovely set altogether. What about the softer and sweeter fortune kitties from Isetan? I just had to chase after and put them side by side even though the 2018 piece is slightly smaller in size carrying a turquoise flap, they still look amazingly cute to me. The biggest size kitty belongs to 2020 while the 2019 piece has a bunch of the little ones celebrating the new year, maybe a little too many up front till one ran to the back as only the 2019 piece has prints on the reverse side.
Laz the lion from Lazada is giving love and luck in a pink duo. Laz also has a cheerful stickers collection on LINE. Wouldn't it be lovely if they can include those in the future in their red packet designs? This is my first Nanas & Squish from Nee Soon and they are just adorably fun. I did a quick search over at their FB page and found a few of their red packets since 2016, too bad I have missed out on another cute collection series.
Thanks to Mei Fern for rounding up the recent Berries family, without her I would still be hunting. Also a special thanks to my cousin Yen Moi for grabbing me a set of the fortune whiskers by Mobile Workforce as well as a few others. I have actually forgotten about this particular zodiac design series. I have the doggies, the design not the company but missed out the piggies thinking that it would be easy to hunt them down. Ha. I was so wrong, oops > <
My star collection of the year, National Heritage Board, all 37 of them! I would never have dream of owing a complete series as one need to visit each museum/gallery/center to collect the entire 37 designs. I came to know of NHB series back in 2015 when Apryl got me a packet of goat from the National Library. Soon enough I realized there were thirty over to chase after. I did attempt to complete the full series by trading but only manage to get through half way for both the goat and monkeys. This year if not for the FB contest organized by the Museum Rountable of National Heritage Board to support Singapore's museum-going culture, I would still be wishful thinking > <
M-O-U-S-E
Here comes the garden mice from Perennial and I am simply mesmerized by the colors, texture and beautiful illustration. This 3pcs set in pink, orange and red each matched with a pair of different colored mice. The purple, red and yellow pals are sending beautiful blessings and they are just as vibrant as their much bigger size cousin piggies > < Follow the link to view their 2018 doggies, 2017 roosters and 2016 monkeys.
After their lovely zodiac set in 2018 SPH is back this year with Mr. Nibbles in two versions. The 4pcs set from Shin Min and Lianhe is a die-cut effect design with glossy laminated finishing; Shin Min taking the yellow and orange mice while Lianhe went with the blue and pink. The real die-cut version is of rubbery material and consist of 8 different colors each with the 8 media companies printed on the flap. Unfortunately I only have 96.3 FM in teal and sadly unlikely that I will be able to complete this beautiful set. Activa Media below is my first from them but this vibrant and artistic design I believe is the loveliest so far, right?
" S Q U E A K & O i n k "
Cetaphil never fails to amaze me with their red packet design since my first pair in 2016 and after their chic and stylish black porky last year, the mousy is just as modish. Maintaining the one big, now two small concept, the design is just irresistible for collectors.
SMT&P below is a law firm established in 1994 by Mr. Sim Mong Teck. After their gorgeous piece of the pig among the blossoms last year, it's time for Stuart Little to enjoy the fresh floral scent and I am loving everything about it, definitely my type of design!

The fitness piggy team from Mediacorp was all bright and cheerful which brings us to the mice this year and they are even brighter and happier. The trio comes in two front and back matching piece with a his & her theme while the third piece went horizontal having lil' missy and mister cheeky peeping out from each side.
Guardian has both Malaysia and Singapore using the same design this year but this is one of those rare occasions where Malaysia's version is printed on better paper quality. From their 4pcs set since I started to collect in 2017, this is quite a set back. Find the comparison at my facebook album here.
The single mouse, not every collector will chase after but I do cause they can be as unique and beautiful as the sets and pairs. I also like to round them all up and admire them collectively. From the top we have some yellow power from Acuvue red, yellow and white mice to The New Paper cheesy block. This next piece is thick in quality hence loving FastJobs big blue whiskers basking in a bright pink background with the yellow ancient Chinese coinage and flap. Tuas Power is a truly catchy piece with a big eye red illustrated mouse while Redoxon took on a different shade of pink, the watermelon pink with a white mousy. Newly added is Skechers which I am so happy that my cousin got me a piece for my collection followed by Mikayla.sg the dress maker that came into the fashion world in 2017. Do check back for the Malaysia Skechers set, better design but Singapore still has the quality that collectors like, rubbery!
From a recent trade is a sweet yellow and pink pair of the adorable mouse playing with the lion dancing girl from Etude House. I only have their 2017 rooster and so this is kind of a happy trade for me this year.
Color is an extremely powerful thing because we can leverage color to inspire specific feelings and emotions. Pastel colors have a softer look that’s easier on the eyes, inspiring a calming, soothing and peaceful vibe to create designs that sends a very specific message. Paris Miki pairing of the sweet pink and pastel mint green create an edgier look that keeps pastels from feeling too sweet. Because the mint has a darker undertone and paired with pink and purple, the overall feel of the design is more sleek, vibrant and energetic. I am now waiting for the piggies to reunite. Elisa Litz cat, dog, pig and rat takes on the pink and peach, letting the pastel and the contrasting animal face take center stage.
Here comes the mice pairs with Singapore Mint taking what seems to be a new look after their previous 12 cycle of zodiac edition, actually it's probably 10 because I can't seem to find any information on their 2008 rat & 2009 ox. Anyway I only started collecting them in 2014 hence only have half of their previous series.
The next golden rat duo in orange and red below is from Royal Plaza on Scotts and they have a lovely nyonya style door. Also known as the Peranakan door, the main wooden doors, with their intricately carved panels, are left open during the day to let air in. The second outer set are swinging half-doors based on the Malay pintu pagar (literally, fence door). These unique meld of Victorian, Chinese and Malay styled door opens up into a colorful wall of ceramic tiles with the arched transom as flaps, brilliant!
Before we move on with the education providers we have Caregiver Asia, an online aggregator of health and caregiving services with it's colorful pair of sea waves and a gold hot-stamping mouse. The paper quality is better than average and is just slightly bigger in size.
From the education provider we have Singapore Polytechnic and their sweet blossom in a blue and red pairing while Marshall Cavendish lantern pair below is looking just as smart and intelligent ^ ^ Don't forget to continue this beautiful academic journey and check out Learning Lab story curve, golden ratio & solar system as well as the Berries series that I have collected so far.
The floral couples from Marshall Cavendish, Esso LPG & Eu Yan Sang are both revitalizing and rejuvenating with the shades of teal, a color that combines the calming properties of blue with the renewal qualities of green. Fun facts: Teal is named for the colored area around the eye of the common teal bird. While teal is a symbolic of the infinity of the sea and sky for Tibetan monks, Egyptians see it as the color of truth and faith.
Esso LPG compensated it's thinner paper quality with more colors this year as compared to their single elegant red floral design that comes in a quality box last year. The teal is paired with the creative purple both with highlights of yellow floral. Eu Yan Sang paired it's teal with the energetic yellow by taking on the die-cut illusion featuring the auspicious yuan bao.
telecommunications
Here comes the Singapore Telcos and we have M1 with their first paper cut edition and this bright yellow piece is a joyful beauty. You can find my compilation of their series from 2014-2018 over at my 2018 Singapore page or admire their very first 4pcs set from my 2019 Singapore Facebook album here. Singtel continues with another pair of their signature classic red theme while Starhub changed it's flap layout since 2017 to a simpler one this year using the combination of three main colors, azure, pink and emerald green. My favorite set from them is still the stunning 2018 floral set @2018 Singapore page followed by their 2017 floral pair which you can also take a peep here at my 2017 Singapore Facebook album.
The fireworks display for Laneige 2020 new year party is a shimmering one with Singapore taking on the rubbery passionate maroon while Malaysia chose to use the bright yellow, pink and red. This is definitely one of the more matching series this year. Let's continue the floral journey with Risis elegant orchid piece. My preference is always colors but this beauty calls out to me despite just the red and gold, especially with the extended flap view. Just like their jewelries, this orchid theme does make one feel like a queen, basking in regal beauty. I did a little research and they have a series of zodiac design in the past, all the way back to 2009 with their ox up till the 2017 rooster which is the only zodiac I have in my collection (grin). Just like Laneige Singapore, Kose Singapore is also going rubbery with a gold and red pair while Malaysia decided to stand tall with a little more colors on their big floral illustrated duo.
Above we have a few beautiful and elegant singles that I like very much especially Passion red roses with blue leaves. Another unique design worth mentioning is the pillow from Tempur, a warm fabric piece indeed. Below we have the flowery portrait ladies standing tall and elegantly; Majestic Fast Ferry and The Fullerton both going all red with big blossoms at the background while The Heeren and Carlton went with the auspicious fishes. It's the Koi vs goldfish and each have their own beauty indeed. With the goldfishes Carlton has stopped their zodiac edition, bummer > <
Next stop, Marina Bay Sands! The Rewards series is satisfying with a lovely continuance in the last four years. I don't have a favorite among the four but they are looking good collectively in their rubbery finishing. Hoping that there will be something exciting from them next year.
Samsonite is all about checkers this year and they are quite catchy with the glossy laminated finishing but the star is actually the box (casing) which carries the same two toned checkered design. The darker shade and horizontal layout gives it a purse or clutch like feel and it's quite charming I must say.
Here's a little purple dose from Learning Lab, credit to Mei Fern once again for always being so generous to share her extras. This trio comes in a creative casing, not an easy set to get but then again I saw a few lucky collectors successfully traded with Kit Kat and SG AIA pair during CNY in the Chinese group. Their series are definitely a worthy collection however sadly I only have another from them, their lovely 2017 set.
Let's continue to embrace the color that speaks to us. If we love pink, own it. If we are a purple fanatic, that's fantastic because both Shanghai Tang and Compass One are carrying pink and purple splashes. The colors we see and use are nothing less than magical. They bring an energy into a room, or to an outfit, or to a collector's world, that is undeniable. Don't miss out Compass One 2018 fortune god in the same purple flaps and the 2017 happy chicks laying horizontally over at my facebook album.

Other than the cute hamster pair from Compass One above, the other shopping mall that brought us collectors this year zodiac motif is Sun Plaza. Their softer pink and peach shades compliments the sweet floral patterns while the origami rats are sniffing out the new year. I was quite pleased indeed to trade a pair back. Besides the lovely purple-pink orchid pair from Shanghai Tang, we have another departmental store Robinsons which celebrated their 160th anniversary in 2018 with a blind embossed vase filled with golden flowers. I do not have the said 2018 vase piece nor their plain 2019 crane pair hence rather delighted that I managed to trade a pair of their 2020 lab rat pair in gold and red. I do find them more attractive than the previous editions.
Here's one more of my last year favorites while waiting for it's 2020 partner; More pigs lining up to welcome the mice with three little pigs from Orchard Gateway.
