The Chinese garden design from Deutsche Bank & GDEX; a landscape garden style made for reflection and escape from the outside world, creating an idealized miniature landscape, which is meant to express the harmony that should exist between man and nature. A beautiful start for the 2013 collection...
Finally completed the DB pair above and added this lovely set of four from ChinaTown Point by Perennial with their maiden-lion dancing team in orange, pink, purple and greenish brown... check out few more new ones below especially the snake skins. Don't forget to hop over to the other 2013 New Treasures that I have added the previous round as well.
Also joining the 2013 family is Ogawa four lovely Da Di Hui Chun 大地回春 pieces with a combination of scenery, lion dancing and a painting illustration of olden days Chinese kids celebrating. Take a look at the 2014 GDEX garden piece... aren't both 2013 & 2014 looking beautiful side by side? Tan Chong Ekspres also delivered a little tranquility and peacefulness with their pair of yellow and red sun-set illustration, time for a fresh breath of air! Oh did you notice the backdrop?
Shangri-La set below is absolutely stunning, truly elegant with it's floral print and fabric material. More floral designs from DHL Singapore, HSBC Mid Valley, Mochi Sweets & Optimax. Next on the floral arrangement we have beautiful flower piece from Crabtree & Evelyn and Villamas, the later using thick recycle paper. Check out my newest additions as well (click here) or visit the Crabtree & Evelyn family here.
The 'baju' theme is a growing favorite among collectors so be sure to look out for more in the coming years but first let us admire Xixili two beautiful sexy lingerie from the olden days as well as the glittering cheongsam pair from Poh Heng.
SNAKE SKIN DESIGN; So cool! My latest addition from the beautiful Antalis Arjowiggins with a soft long hexagon shaped casing that carries a pair of the same skin pattern packets. Pavilion Banyan Tree and Pavilion KL also did very well with their 2pc and 8pc sets respectively. Even Sasa pulled it off with a combination of skin, floral and 福 (fu), giving us a sweet pinky snake theme.
Not snake skin but using tiny corporate boys and girls figurine as background patterns and again used the figurines to emboss the words of 步步高升 "May you rise higher in every step of the way", is Kelly Services Hong Kong. Sembonia uses a more plain yet stylish design of its initial SB, embossed.
From the financial sectors we have the illustrious floral print from CIMB Private, the imperial lion from Deutsche Bank Hong Kong and a beautiful 4pc set from OCBC. Also using flowers is Standard Chartered with sweet pink blossoms, Bank of America, UOB and HSBC all combining floral with chinese characters 福 (fu) and/or 春(chun). Standard Chartered Singapore used cute lil' pandas whereas their Priority Banking chose to use a large fu and their Private Bank came out with a pair of beautiful floral vase theme. We have pretty fishes from Allianz and graceful birds with peach blossom from Maple Tree. Maybank came out with a 2-piece set and Ambank, simple but grand with a front and back match piece using the 福 (fu) as well. Other simpler designs from Bank of Singapore and Public Mutual Fund. HSBC Singapore and HK both used the same design with yet another simple front and back match piece. And finally the cutie-pies; Luv it! And finally the famous POSB & DBS, delightful pairs as always.
Red packets with the actual 'snake' from Kao, Abbott, InSing, Kingston, Super Dining and Melaleuca which is a cool single design, so far my most favorite one from them actually.
Check out the shopping mall, F&B, IT Companies & Gaming series below.
CapitaMall adorable 2-piece panda set is one of my favorites while Parkson did well with it's flower single piece as well.
I like the flap design from Cadbury, the good paper quality front and back match piece from Loong Kee and the very bright pink floral and fish piece from Sun Asia but my favorite F&B piece is Yakult 2-piece Lian Hua set, charming.
From the IT line, HP 3-piece set is pretty unique while Epson Malaysia and Singapore came out with quite a cool design too, vibrant and the other in gold with floral embossing. Apostrophe has a nice 4pc floral set while Canon Singapore piece is quite unique. Samsung started a trilogy ang pow piece of its Galaxy Note in 2013 to 2015, waiting to see what will be the design in 2016. Oh and my Logitech is an incomplete set (face-palm).
Magnum 4D, Sports Toto and Da Ma Cai all have a front and back match piece but the later used very thick paper making it different from the rest. Singapore Pool has a 2pc set which I have yet to upload therefore will update the next round.
We have 3pc set from Pureen and others worth to note is Baskin Robins sweet piece using blue color theme which matched pretty well with Unicef. And finally 2 delightful pieces from Michelin and Genting Resorts.
